Elastocon offers precision instruments for a wide area of rubber and plastic testing: cutting presses and dies for specimen preparation, ageing ovens, stress relaxation test systems, low temperature testers, and much more.

Cell oven, EB 19
The EB 19 cell oven is equipped with 4 cells, each with individual temperature. Each cell has individual control of the air exchange rate, and has room for 24 test pieces. The oven performs well inside the apparatus requirements in ISO 188 method A, IEC 60811-401, IEC 60216-4-3 and DIN 53508 p. 6.4.
EB 19 is one of the latest generation of cell ageing ovens from Elastocon, for precision ageing of rubber and plastic materials under controlled conditions.
Two temperature sensors are used, one for temperature control and one for measuring the temperature close to the samples. This sensor can also be connected to a logging software.
Note: For the best performance of the instrument, we recommend a placement in an environment with a stable temperature between +10 to +30 °C.
Stress relaxation test system
Relaxation system for continuous measurement of rubber in either compression or tension. Meets the requirements in ISO 3384, ISO 6914 and ASTM D6147.
Our relaxation test system, which is used by customers all over the world, consists of different components. This is a way to increase the flexibility in the system and a way to facilitate the possibility to find the perfect match to your testing needs, both in size and other features.

Hot set tester, EB 16-II
The EB 16-II hot set tester is made for hot set testing of cable material according to IEC 60811-2-1 and other equivalent standards.
To avoid too high temperature loss when inserting and cutting the samples, the samples are introduced through a small opening in the top of the oven. To get a suitable working height and not shake the samples during insertion, the oven is fixed and the sample holder moves up and down by a servo motor driven screw system.
The oven has a low air speed and an air exchange rate which is controlled by a flow meter, meeting the requirements for ageing ovens in IEC 60811-2-1.
